Buying A New Car? Go Electric This Year With Exciting New Launches

The future of electric cars in India looks very promising. With the government’s support and the increasing availability of new models, electric cars are expected to become more popular in India in the coming years. Several new electric cars have been launched in India in recent months, including the Tata Nexon EV, the MG ZS EV, and the Hyundai Kona Electric. These new models are expected to further increase the popularity of electric cars in India. The EV charging infrastructure in India is also expanding rapidly. Several companies are setting up EV charging stations across the country, and the government is also providing subsidies for the installation of EV charging stations.

Here are some of the upcoming new electric car launches in India in 2023-24:

  • Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV: This luxury SUV is expected to be launched in India in July 2023. It will be powered by a dual-motor setup that produces 516 hp and 855 Nm of torque. The EQS SUV has a claimed range of up to 478 km on a single charge.

  • Fisker Ocean: This electric SUV is expected to be launched in India in July 2023. It will be powered by a single-motor setup that produces 279 hp and 380 Nm of torque. The Ocean has a claimed range of up to 402 km on a single charge.
  • Volvo C40 Recharge: This electric SUV is expected to be launched in India in August 2023. It will be powered by a dual-motor setup that produces 408 hp and 660 Nm of torque. The C40 Recharge has a claimed range of up to 425 km on a single charge.

  • Tata Punch EV: This electric SUV is expected to be launched in India in September 2023. It will be powered by a single-motor setup that produces 105 hp and 130 Nm of torque. The Punch EV has a claimed range of up to 300 km on a single charge.

  • Mahindra XUV400 EV: This electric SUV is expected to be launched in India in October 2023. It will be powered by a dual-motor setup that produces 200 hp and 300 Nm of torque. The XUV400 EV has a claimed range of up to 375 km on a single charge.

It is clear that the electric car market in India is growing rapidly. With so many new models and charging stations being launched, it is likely that electric cars will become more mainstream in India in the near future. So if you are thinking of buying a new car, go electric this year.
