Samsung launches Solar ACs and Refrigerators Before the Outbreak Of Summer in India

Solar Power has not remained a niche technology, with solar products fast expanding to reach the industrial, commercial and residential sectors. India’s ambitious plan to install 100 GW of solar power by 2022 has given the much needed push to this ground breaking technology. The company recently announced the launch of two major domestic solar products that can be put to use in one’s house this summer and can definitely help in reducing his electricity bills – solar refrigerators and solar ACs. These can run efficiently on solar power and come in a good new Magnolia floral pattern with advanced technologies that help in cooling faster. They are also designed in a way to result in maximum power conservation and better durability.

The air conditioner which is launched in the affordable luxury segment is claimed to cool 43% faster than the normal ACs. These air conditioners come with Voltage Protector nd can handle voltage fluctuations from 146V to 290V. Hence there is no need of an external stabilizer that we use with the normal ACs in India. They can endure extremely hot outdoor temperatures of up to 52°C and come in S-Inverter air conditioner and Digital Inverter range. These solar ACs are designed keeping in mind the Indian climate and preferences of the Indian customer.

Samsung Solar Refrigerators

Samsung solar refrigerator is launched in the frost-free category and comes in smart convertible and direct cool range. These can run efficiently on solar power as well as on home inverter. They come with enhanced features like Power Cooling Mode and Power Freeze Mode which help to reach a desired low temperature 31% faster than the normal refrigerators. They come with a floral design and can withstand voltage fluctuations ranging from 100 volts to 300 volts.

Price

Smart Convertible Refrigerator is priced at INR 27,250 in size ranging from 253 litres to 670 litres. Smart Digital Inverter Direct Cool Refrigerator starts at INR 14,900 in size ranging from 192 litres-230 litres. These will soon be available across strategic markets.

S-Inverter, Digital Inverter Technology based Air Conditioners are priced between INR 35,900 to INR 66,600.
