Vikram Solar Panel Reviews
Vikram Solar is a manufacturer of PV solar modules. The company has its headquarters in Kolkata, India. It is a part of the Vikram Group of companies, having an experience of 40 years in engineering and manufacturing activities. The manufacturing plant has a 150 MW installed capacity spread across 40,000 sq ft area in Falta, West Bengal. Vikram Solar has offices across the whole of India and global offices in Europe and Africa. The company is capable of manufacturing modules which can be used for both on grid and off grid establishments across residential, commercial and industrial segments. However, currently the company is not manufacturing solar cells and wafers, but is expecting to include them in its manufacturing base as well.
The modules can be categorized into six segments. Given below are the categories and features of Vikram Solar panels.
Features of Vikram Solar Panels
- All solar modules come with 25 year limited power output warranty
- Can withstand high wind-pressure, snow load and extreme temperature conditions
- Up to 5 Wp positive tolerance on the power output
- Can perform well in low light conditions
- The modules are CE, UL, and TUV certified
- All modules are tested for salt mist corrosion and ammonia resistance
1) Eldora Micro Series
These are 18/36 cell polycrystalline solar PV module, with power range 8 Wp – 150 Wp. Ideal for 12 V systems. IEC 61215, IEC 61730 ,MCS Certified. The different modules available are Eldora 10P, 20P, 30P, 40P, 50P, 60P, 80P, 100P, 120P, 130P and 150P.
Applications – Home and Street Lighting
2) Eldora Mini Series
These are 48 cell polycrystalline solar PV module, with power range 180 Wp – 200 Wp. These modules are designed for larger and higher area like rooftop and ground mounted applications.The module available under this category is Eldora 190P.
Applications – On-grid rooftop domestic and commercial systems & Off-grid residential systems
3) Eldora Core Series
These are 54 cell polycrystalline solar PV module, with power range 200 Wp – 220 Wp. These modules are designed for larger and higher area like rooftop and ground mounted applications. The modules are IEC 61215, IEC 61730, MCS certified. The module available under this category is Eldora 220P.
Applications – On-grid rooftop domestic and commercial systems & Off-grid residential systems
4) Eldora Prime Series
These are 60 cell polycrystalline solar PV module, with power range 240 Wp – 260 Wp. These modules are designed for larger and higher area like rooftop and ground mounted applications. The modules are IEC 61215, IEC 61730, MCS certified. The module available under this category is Eldora 250P.
Applications – On-grid rooftop residential and commercial systems, Off-grid residential systems & On-grid large scale utility systems.
5) Eldora Ultima Series
These are 60 cell polycrystalline solar PV module, with power range 240 Wp – 260 Wp. These modules are designed for larger and higher area like rooftop and ground mounted applications. The modules are IEC 61215, IEC 61730, UL , MCS certified. Ultima series can withstand upto 5400 Pa mechanical load capacity. The modules available under this category are Eldora VSP.60.AAA.03, Eldora VSPBB.60.AAA.03 and Eldora VSPB.60.AAA.03
Applications – On-grid rooftop residential and commercial systems, Off-grid residential systems & On-grid large scale utility systems.
6) Eldora Grand Series
These are 72 cell polycrystalline solar PV module, with power range 120 Wp – 315 Wp. These modules are designed for larger and higher area like rooftop and ground mounted applications. The modules are IEC 61215, IEC 61730, MCS certified. The modules available under this category are Eldora 130P, Eldora 180P, Eldora 200P, Eldora 260P, Eldora 270P and Eldora 300P.
Applications – On-grid rooftop residential and commercial systems, Off-grid residential systems, solar pumping station & On-grid large scale utility systems.

Thanks for writing to us. Both Vikram and Lubi manufacture multicrystalline modules. Lubi’s modules are available from 5W-310W range. I am not very sure about the efficiency of Lubi’s solar panels, though Vikram solar offers modules with upto 17% efficiency levels. Lubi group diversified into solar business recently in 2010 and has 40MW solar panel annual manufacturing capacity, as against Vikram Solar’s 150 MW capacity and over 40 years experience in engineering and manufacturing activities.
Others who have used Lubi panels can throw more light on its working. Guys please pour in your views and suggestions here.
