I myself tried comparing the prices online and in retail shops (for perfumes and smartphones) and found that online shopping was a cheaper option. Plus there is always something in store for the online shoppers with lucrative offers around the corner.

iv) Poor Infrastructure – The Indian infrastructure in terms of marketing and distribution networks is not so well developed to handle the logistics. Thus e-commerce business is also appreciable here. Also there is no space constraint for the online merchants and hence they have ample of choices for their online customers to browse and choose. They also offer easy return policies in case you do not like the product. Things are very much easy on an online platform.
