Samsung launches Solar ACs and Refrigerators Before the Outbreak Of Summer in India

Solar Power has not remained a niche technology, with solar products fast expanding to reach the industrial, commercial and residential sectors. India’s ambitious plan to install 100 GW of solar power by 2022 has given the much needed push to this ground breaking technology. With prices now as low as the traditional sources of power and efficiencies reaching the record breaking level, solar energy is now set to become a major source of power not only in India but also globally. Read solar becomes the largest source of installed energy for US.

Though solar energy was not very successful in the rooftop solar part in the residential segment in India, this year has seen the advent of many solar products launched by big mainstream companies in the domestic category. Videocon has already launched a solar air conditioner for the Indian market.

Samsung Solar ACs

Samsung too has entered this arena with much fanfare. The company recently announced the launch of two major domestic solar products that can be put to use in one’s house this summer and can definitely help in reducing his electricity bills – solar refrigerators and solar ACs. These can run efficiently on solar power and come in a good new Magnolia floral pattern with advanced technologies that help in cooling faster. They are also designed in a way to result in maximum power conservation and better durability.

They can endure extremely hot outdoor temperatures of up to 52°C and come in S-Inverter air conditioner and Digital Inverter range. These solar ACs are designed keeping in mind the Indian climate and preferences of the Indian customer.
