The concept of need is coupled with the limitations. Need caters to the requirement and demand of the world wherein limitations help in organizing the resource availability on the basis of environment ability to meet both present and future needs.

It is very important to understand the value of resources and importance of quality life. Sustainable development as a concept helps us understand ourselves and our world. It is the medium with which the problems of real world, which are complex and serious could be well understood and tackled accordingly. Information, integration, and participation are identified to be the key building blocks of development which when implemented and executed in the right manner will lead to sustainable development. The system emphasizes on the fact that everyone is a user and provider of information which when acted collectively lead to sustainable development.

It is now important the old method of doing business which includes old sector-centered ways should be replaced by new approaches that involve cross-sectoral co-ordination and the integration of environmental and social concerns. This process will help in proper care for the environment without harming the need of any individual. The method will also broaden the forum of collective participation from public and private sector in decision making.

It is a journey of achieving sustainability and is thus a vital important means to reach the final destination of a desired future and present state. In sustainable development there is an added responsibility of improving the life of future generations. In the current integrated, interrelated and interconnected global economy it is important to impart proper education among the people about the judicious use of natural resources. It is important to create awareness among the crowd that excessive use of non renewable fossil fuel is not only degrading the environment, but is also affecting the life of future generation.

Use of renewable sources of energy should be encouraged. Also plantation of trees should be encouraged, as there is a need to maintain the ecological balance, keeping in mind the pace of technological advancement. There is an urgent need of restoring the previous ecosystem damage, while resisting to the contribution of further ecosystem damage. When these steps are implemented in the whole global economy and is preached in every nook and corner of world, only then a known and aware world could be established and only then a sustainable development could be achieved.
