Solar Energy Program for Villages in India launched by controversial NGO Krishi Bikash Shilpa Kendra (KBSK) convicted of fraud in the past

Solar Power in India has terrific growth potential and it is attracting all sorts of people. A Solar Energy Program which would lead to electrification of villages in around 50 villages spread around India has been launched by controversial NGO  Krishi Bikash Shilpa Kendra (KBSK).Note Solar Energy is a perfect fit for Indian Energy Needs given that a massive section of the population does not get power or have access to the power grid.A Number of non-profit companies like Orb Energy are doing a fabulous job providing solar power to the masses using innovative bottom of the pyramid solar products.Note the details given in the PR by Krishi Bikash Shilpa Kendra (KBSK) were few except that 50,000 unemployed people would be provided jobs through their efforts .

Krishi Bikash Shilpa Kendra (KBSK) members have  been involved in the past in job heist schemes where they have fleeced money from unsuspecting villages using jobs as incentives.5 members of the organization had been arrested in West Bengal .The organization had also used the names of central officials and the national emblem to embezzle money from poor villages. It does not have an inspiring track record with a former secretary in jail as well. There is little details about how this NGO will go about this program or how it would get funds to do it as well. The website does not have too much information either.

KBSK OFFICIALS ARRESTED IN MADHABDIHI

Five officials of the controversial NGO Krishi Bikash Silpa Kendra (KBSK) were arrested by the Madhabdihi police. The organisation’s activity was first brought to the notice of the district police & administration by bardhaman.com on 17.03.04. The organisation was reported to demand money from job seekers at the organisation. They also dared to use the national emblem illegally to establish itself as a `central government undertaking’ in the eyes of the job seekers. The organisation again came into limelight when they printed the name of the DM & SP of Burdwan without their consent, at a blood donation camp arranged by them on 05.04.04. The police on arrival at the organisation didn’t find any valid documents which permits them to use national emblem & `Govt. of India’ declaration. The officials even failed to produce documents to support their identity as a NGO also. Police arrested Sk. Jamat Ali, the self declared director, his wife Sakila Begum & three more employees of the organisation, Kashinath Samanta, Madhusudan Sahana & Parimal Nayek. They were produced at the Burdwan court. Jamat Ali was sent to the police custody & the rest to the jail.

20-Point Programme – its inception, implementation and monitoring across the Nation – a golden fundamental right and opportunity for a citizen.

In view of our country’s poor economic status, social reforms and overall empowerment of the statehood ship amongst developed and developing Nation in the world. Our then respected Late Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi lunched 20-Point Programme in the year 1975 for all round implementation with up keeping purpose. In the year 1982, it was put forward in the cabinet for approval and appreciation to move on priority. Our organization, Krishi Bikash Shilpa Kendra, which was in existence since 1979 were carrying it out similar nature or functions for development of economy, education, health and overall social welfare in the rural areas and urban sectors in the Country.

Respected Late Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi made an historical official order Vide Order No F-2-38(4)83 P.M.P.I, dated 16.04.1983 on Krishi Bikash Shilpa Kendra for utmost implementation programme across the Nation. Our beloved & respectable Late Sri Atul Kumar Chakraborty, Ex. Defense Control inaugurated the programme as General Director & commenced in all sector like economy, health, welfare for child & women with very high hopes. In the year 1986 the entire programme was revised and promoted with high priority of implementation areas like poverty eradication for all, child welfare, social security, development of backward areas, welfare for minorities and O.B.C’s etc and many other points which Krishi Bikash Shilpa Kendra accepted the challenges of running the operation smoothly, objectively and 20-Point Programme have been further restructured in view of the challenges of 21st Century.

Since beginning our dedicated associates rendered their best efforts to implement the programme with higher expectation of achievements and we have been receiving very active support, valued parentage and assurances from Central as well as State Government Officials. We are very much encouraged, energized and proud on such positive attitude without which it could have been not possible to attain such degree of success.

Further as a step forward to improvisation, our beloved and respected Mr. Prosenjit Bose, Managing Director of Krishi Bikash Shilpa Kendra, having extraordinary success background, highlighted and focused of high degree acceptance need of the awareness of the programme amongst many levels of Government Officials other functionaries and common people, whom the programme meant for. He has created an enormous understanding of implementation and motivation to work for such programme within interested group people of potential, who can further accelerate in many levels, sections of the Society to derive the best benefits of this programme to the common people, which gave a huge momentum to peruse.

Through several awareness programme over the years involving many high profile dignitaries of the Government, Social workers, Freedom fighters, Philanthropist has it been brought forward today’s state of belongingness of pride as we are always and for bright future. We always think that our present strength of dedicated, focused, energized team members, who are the real all time awakened soldiers of the Prime Minister Madam Indira Gandhi, will strive always with the best tuning, understanding, nationality to achieve such Noble Mission of the Country poised for best performing and developing Nation in the world across the globe dealing with very fundamental, Socio-economic reforms social justice and gender inequalities, racism, global energy crisis and environment management etc and other complex issues where every worldly citizen expected breath and survive for further excellence.

Once again we are grateful to all Governmental departments, high profile personalities and high thinking people from whom we always hope to get advices for all round achievement of the programme and request your kind, very valued supports for grant march forward.

KBSK is in a fight, a fight for existence, fight for all who believe in patriotism, freedom and tolerance. A great situation has been challenged during the implementation of 20-Point Programme (Tpp-2006) by Krishi Bikash Shilpa Kendra. We must act and do so strongly. We have suffered a great loss; immeasurable harm has been done to us. And with Grief in silent tears and anger in patriot’s heart, we must defeat this moment and rise up to the challenge. We are in a fight for our moral & vision and out first step must be to live by them. This is our moment to answer the call. This is our time. We must act. Find those who did this, who encouraged them, who housed them, who comfort them and bring them to justice or bring justice to them. Justice must be done. I earnestly appeal to you to allow me to elaborate those challenges before you. Hope my prayer will be entertained for our National Interest.

Corruption in the name of Krishi Bikash Shilpa Kendra & Govt. of India –
In the state of West Bengal some dishonest people is publishing again & again false & unauthorized advertisement relating KBSK & National Programme 20-Point, depicting that they are the members of the Governing Bodies of KBSK. By displaying those fake publications they are approaching to the general people and alluring several youths of the State in the pretext of providing them employment in Govt. Sector in lieu of heavy premium. By this means they have amassed huge wealth amounting to few crores if not more. They have opened several unauthorized office in various locations of West Bengal on the name of KBSK. To strengthening their fake identity they are issuing false appointment letter in the name of KBSK not only that they are illegally using Ashoka Emblem in their letter pad & on their office banner. They are also misusing the National 20-Point Programme; An PMPI Order issued by the then Prime Minister (Vide Order No.: F-2-38(4)83 PMPI dated 16.04.1983) and also Govt. of India without any authority. This is prima-facie illegal and is apparently done with the malafide intention for which the concerned persons responsible would be liable for action as per the law. Their main intension is extorting money on the name of KBSK & makes a bad impression about the KBSK & Tpp-2006 of Govt. of India among the common man & local Government. Therefore whenever we are going to perform our duties, we are suffering by our identity crisis. Repeatedly we have to prove & explain ourselves to the both of them & requesting them to cooperate in implementing Tpp-2006. The situation is going worse day by day. Now fearlessly they are attacking our dedicated volunteers to stop our activities & abolish the noble mission. They also threatening our officials to stop our activities and they have also challenged that they will not let the National 20-Point Programme be implemented. Some high profile portfolio holders are supporting them due to ill reason & personal benefit. Some leading news paper and their reporters are consciously / unconsciously supporting them without any authenticity and we only looking forward for the cooperation we deserve from the State Administration of W.B. But nothing happened. The said matter was reported by us to Jadavpur P.S. ; D.I.G. CID, West Bengal; Chief Minister, West Bengal and also to the Hon’ble Governor, West Bengal but nothing transpired. To rescue KBSK’s stolen identity & glory we have no other choice to inform Central Government Authorities (Like sole authority Prime Minister & His Office; Ministry of Home; Press Information Bureau) asking for their direct cooperation on this subject of matter. Then Ministry of Home, Govt. of India gave direction to the Additional Secretary, Department of Home, Govt. of West Bengal to take immediate positive action regarding this kind of illegal activates under intimation of Krishi Bikash Shilpa Kendra. But no justice have been done to us rather West Bengal Administration conduct a brief Investigation on us in spite of those illegal elements. They are still continuously threatening us with dire consequences by sending goons to make me cripple and stop intervening in their ill designed activities.

    Excellence * Innovation * Integrity
We believe by heart that we are the 4200 chosen obedient soldiers of Hon’ble Late Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi to bring Socio-economic Revolution through implementing the National Twenty Point Programme (Tpp). We have the zeal to establish her dream in reality.
