Bergamo Acquisition Corp offers Vertical Integration of Clean Energy: Bergamo delivers energy projects “from concept through completion” with a vertical portfolio of projects which include design, construction management and facility maintenance services. Bergamo’s financial partners include top multi-national corporations and government organizations. Bergamo sources and provide equipment, develop technology, and leverage our experience to offer turnkey solutions to developers, utilities, water districts, power plant owners, and industrial customers looking to diversify and complement their existing generation portfolio with compact solar thermal generation. Bergamo will be the leading supplier of renewable electricity and clean drinking water to millions of people inhabiting urban and rural areas across the globe. Bergamo Energy develops high efficiency state-of-the art combined cycle power plants that provide flexibility to meet site specific and customer needs. Together with pre-designed and packaged Balance of Plant and standardized Power Plant Control Modules. This provides rapid project commissioning, saves on on-site construction and commissioning costs and the solution provides a optimum balance between capital cost, plant performance and operational and maintenance costs. The goal is to minimize the initial capital cost and life-cycle costs of the power plant. For e.g. the economically advanced 5 MW Hybrid Solar Thermal Power Plant is designed to produce more than 40 Gwh of base load power with an over sized solar field yielding a 25% capacity factor and when operational, will be able to provide power for up to 20,000 average homes. The 5 MW plant is capable of producing $ 10 Million in revenue annually and over 250 Million US Dollars in revenue with a 25 years Power Purchase Agreement. Advanced Hybrid Solar Thermal Power Plants have a distinct advantage over photovoltaics in their ability to deliver base load power with Hybrid fuel flexibility. In addition, the operational life if these power plants can exceed 50 years, with little degradation of output in contrast to photovoltaic’s which degrade over time. Each 5 MW CSP plant can provide up to 250,000 gallons daily of potable water from a brackish or seawater source in conjunction with electricity generation and 30 acre land is required to install 5 MW power plants. We now have a new opportunity to produce clean drinking water with our abundant global solar resource.
Over 3 billion people in developing countries have inadequate access to clean water, reliable power infrastructure, and sanitation. More than 6000 people, the majority of them children, die each day due to inadequate drinking water. Moreover, 1.6 billion people do not have adequate access to electricity. By 2030, the world’s population is projected to reach 8 billion with 97% of that growth occurring in developing countries. Building conventional power generation sources to bridge the growing gap between power and clean water supply and demand requires miles of costly transmission and distribution networks, and poses serious threats to the stability of the environment.
Led Lighting
Led lighting has now reached a point of mainstream applications. The global market for LED fixtures and applications is now being estimated to reach over 8 billion in the next three years. This is especially true in the commercial and industrial applications where LED luminaries (lighting fixtures) are projected to reach the 1 billion mark in 2011.
Improved LED lamp and circuit design have increased the energy saving and is minimizing the amount of energy consumed by lighting and lighting systems. LED lighting offers low energy use, controllability and compatibility with energy savings systems and network controls. Today’s LED light features include dimming, instant on features, on without cool down time and control of color variation.
The key strength in LED lighting is the reduced power consumption. Life expectancy when designed and built properly is 50,000 hours. That is 12 years of not having to change out bulbs or fixtures, an enormous savings, especially if the lights are in hard to reach places. An additional, indirect energy efficiency benefit of LEDs is the lack of heat generated – ambient heat that no longer needs to be offset by ventilation or air-conditioning systems. LED is low voltage and therefore is safe near people, outdoors and in wet conditions. LED can provide more lighting compared to the current methods for less cost and offer increased security because of better area lighting.
There is no comparison between the costs of LED lights vs. traditional incandescent options. With incandescent bulbs, the true cost of the bulb is the cost of replacement bulbs and the labor expense and time needed to replace them. These are significant factors, especially where there is large number of installed bulbs. For office buildings, hotels and skyscrapers, maintenance costs to replace bulbs can be enormous. These issues can all be virtually eliminated for many years with the LED life expectancy.
When designed properly, an LED circuit will approach 80% efficiency or more, which means 80% of the electrical energy is converted to light energy while 20% is lost as heat energy. Compare that with incandescent bulbs, which operate at about 20% efficiency (80% of the electrical energy is lost as heat).
Now that the performance and quality of LEDs and LED lighting fixtures can be counted on when designed and built correctly the key goal right now is to meet the design criteria while improving the price point.
Our engineering, design and manufacturing are developing LED products that lead the way in energy saving, initial cost, performance and quality. Designed to last with built in quality our products provide value at every price point

BERGAMO ACQUISITION CORP
Executive Vice President and Director of Bergamo Acquisition Corp Sohail Parekh, has been working on a solution to help the poverty stricken underdeveloped and developing countries since 2009. After much research, the only possible solution to breaking this cycle of poverty and hunger seems to be to provide an affordable source of energy.
After much in-depth investigation Bergamo Acquisition Corp has come up with a viable solution, and feels that providing an alternate energy source to these countries could possibly help break the cycle of poverty and hunger, which in turn breeds violence and many other social issues. Bergamo Acquisition Corp has developed a Solar Generator for homes, apartment buildings, Government Buildings, Airports etc. Bergamo’s solar generator will provide 1 KVA up to 100 KVA of clean energy. Bergamo also offers a Solar operated tube well water pumping system that is capable of providing from 6000-160,000 liters per hour of clean drinking water. Bergamo’s universal invertors enable existing pumps running on electric power to run on solar power.
Bergamo’s technical team have been working with Government officials, manufactures and importers in Asia, Africa and the Middle East to introduce this state of the art unique product which is several thousand dollars less expensive than the competitors. Both these products are capable of changing the lives of millions of farmers and masses , by allowing them to produce food at a reduced cost, and taking the pressure off an over stressed energy grid. By providing poverty stricken countries with an affordable solution to the food and energy shortage, it will also provide the people with hope for the future .
Both products are developed with the cooperation of Bergamo Acquisition Corp’s 60% owned subsidiaries namely BB Solar Inc and Bergamo Energy Inc .
Bergamo Acquisition Corp is pleased to introduce a Sole proprietary unique state of the art product a solar operated generator and our Solar Powered Tube Well Pumping System developed for use in Pakistan, India, Sudan, Bangladesh and other regions of the globe. OTC: BGMO Solar Pumping System is a proprietary design made to Bergamo’s specifications required to meet the rigorous demands of these types of environments. The January 1, 2010 press release from the Government of Pakistan, states that in the province of Punjab alone, the Government has decided to replace 800,000 Tube Wells with Solar Operated Water Pumps. The total number of tube wells in all of Pakistan is close to 40 million. The USAID department grants 50% of the cost of the water pumps to help Pakistani farmers afford this new technology. This helps in two ways, it lowers the electricity cost to the farmer and helps take pressure off an already over stressed energy grid. Some farmers may self finance this product as it could save them 1000 USD monthly in maintenance and oil expenses. The old technology they are currently using to pump water from tube wells is without a feature to clean water for drinking purposes. For as little as a 12000 USD one time investment they could save close to 240,000 USD over a twenty year period.
